Avril Barton's macaw reviews a new DVD

from the World Parrot Trust

When my human came home saying she had bought the very thing for us birds, t thought "Here we go again-another multi-gym or something similar to stop us just hanging out together and enjoying the sunshine." But no, it was a DVD called Polly Vision, all about birds for birds! And 1 can tell you, it is just great!

It runs for 80 minutes and is all about us, how we live and eat and play as nature intended us to, with no human intervention.

A couple of the old girls in my bird house got quite nostalgic when they saw their cousins back in the Amazon, but for me it was a real education, seeing for the first time how my family lived.

It looked great, even though there were no pomegranates provided on demand.

Good to watch

WE ALL had a talk and decided our human can play the DVD as often as she wants, and as it automatically repeats itself, we can laze around all day watching it without getting bored.

Mind you, Milo the hawkhead did catch Erik the cat trying to work out which was the stop button on the remote. He has no chance ...with six parrots about, his fur will certainly 'fly'.

Do all your birds a favor and buy them this DVD. Perhaps

they will allow you to watch it with them, and you will understand us a lot more than you do now.

Dottie has allowed me, her human, the last few words in this review. Polly Vision is all she says

it is, and much more, a fascinating insight into the daily life of our pet birds in the wild. The sounds of the birds in their daily life certainly make my feathered flock sit up and take notice, and they are all attracted to the TV screen.

Polly Vision can be obtained directly from the World Parrot Trust for £9.45 (inc p&p). Phone 01736 751026 or order online at www.worldparrottrust.org
